Biography

Director / Writer / Producer


Brando Quilici, has produced and directed over 100 specials for televiosion networks around the world, including National Geographic and Discovery Channel. He recived awards at both the Jackson Hole in America and the Palme d’Or at the Antibes Film Festival.

His best-known works include King Tut’s Final Secrets, on the case of death of King Tutankhamun, for National Geographic and Nefertiti and the Lost Dynasty, on the search for the mummy of Nefertiti, also for National Geographic; Iceman for Discovery Channel, Iceman – Murder Mystery for NOVA PBS.

In 2014, he produced and co-directed for Hyde Park International together with Roger Spottiswood, the film The Journey Home, a theatrical release distributed in 30 countries.

In 2022, he produced and directed for Medusa Film and TF1 Studio, The Tiger’s Nest, screenplay by Hugh Hudson and Rupert Thomson, which is an adventure family movie set in the Himalayas.
