Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco

In June 2006, HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco decided to set up his Foundation in order to address the alarming threats hanging over our planet’s environment. The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation works for the protection of the environment and the promotion of sustainable development. The Foundation funds projects in three main geographical regions: the Mediterranean Basin, the Polar Regions and the Least Developed Countries. The Foundation’s efforts focus on three main sectors: Climate change and renewable energies, biodiversity, and integrated and sustainable water management together with the fight against desertification.

Honorary Consulate of the Principality of Monaco in Florence

According to the Vienna Convention dating to the 24th April 1963, the Honorary Consulate of the Principality of Monaco in Florence, in the person of the Honorary Consul Dott. Alessandro Antonio Giusti, has many functions: in particular it deals with the mutual development of commercial, social, economic, cultural and scientific relationships between the Principality of Monaco and the area of jurisdiction of this Consulate, which involves the regions of Tuscany and Marche. In order to achieve this aim, the Consulate organises every year many activities in various fields and, in active collaboration with the local autorities, it provides assistance to the Monegasques who are resident or just present in these areas, to the Public Institutions, to the economic Operators and, in general, to people that are interested in the Principality of Monaco.

The Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI), by authority of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), provides discipline, regulation and management of national sports activities. Coni is a public entity responsible for the organisation and strengthening of national sports and the promotion of maximum proliferation of sport. 

Thanks to the support of CONI, we will underline the importance of water sports for our health and understanding and knowledge of nature, as well as obviously hosting the great champions who have done us proud worldwide

La Federazione Italiana Pesca Sportiva e Attività Subacquee nasce nel 1942 con il fine dichiarato di promuovere la pesca sportiva dilettantistica. Oggi le attività, agonistiche e a carattere promozionale, nazionale e internazionale, vengono gestite da cinque specifici settori: Acque Interne, Acque Marittime, Attività Subacquee, Nuoto Pinnato e Didattica Subacquea. Affiancano i cinque settori alcune strutture operative, tra cui: la Commissione Federale Acque e Impianti (CFAI), la Commissione Giudici di Gara, la Commissione Giovani, la Commissione Didattica e Formazione e la Commissione Tesseramento.

In campo internazionale, la Federazione è membro fondatore della CIPS (Confederazione Internazionale Pesca Sportiva) e della CMAS (Confederazione Mondiale Attività Subacquee).

Legambiente is a non-profit association born in 1980. The mission of the association is to make the environmental culture the centre of a new kind of development and diffused well-being. Important values for the association are the improvement of environmental quality, the fight against all forms of pollution, a wise use of natural resources, the construction of a more balanced relationship between human beings and the nature. Spreading those values could be an effective way to respond to the challenges of our time: the modernization of the economy, the commitment to beat unemployment, the struggle for peace and against all forms of discrimination and social injustice, the effort to consider globalization not only as a mere trading of goods but also as a means to improve quality of life and to give rights to billions of men and women forced to live in poverty.

Associazione Nazionale Comuni Isole Minori

ANCIM is an Association of Municipalities, established Giglio Island in 1986, and consists of 36 Municipalities, 220,000 inhabitants spread over 1,000 kilometers of land and part of the Regions of Campania, Lazio, Liguria, Puglia, Sardinia, Sicily and Tuscany.
It was born from the need to include the problems of the smaller islands on a national and European level and with the aim of creating a new model of economic development and social integrated between the Italian islands, but also European.
The smaller Italian islands can boast an unique environment, landscape and culture context that can become the engine of the recovery of these territories

Comune di Portoferraio

Elba Island, Italy’s third biggest island, is divided into eight municipalities that are characterised by different territorial and demographic breadth: Portoferraio, Rio Marina, Rio nell’Elba, Porto Azzurro, Capoliveri, Campo nell’Elba, Marciana Marina e Marciana. Elba is known mostly not only because it hosted Napoleon I but also for its steel mines, granite caves and for its luxuriant nature and crystalline water. The main municipality is Portoferraio, which was born thanks to Cosimo De’ Medici who began building the city of Cosmopolis in 1548. As in every other village in Elba, Portoferraio blends history and nature. Its main historic site are Villa Romana located a few meters by the sea in the archeological Complex of Linguella, Villa RomanadelleGrotteexposed to the gulf, Fortezzemedicee, the fortress surrounding the historical city center, and the two Napoleon’s Residences: PalazzinadeiMulini, inside the residential area, looks the Piombino canal, while Residenza di San Martino is immersed in the Mediterranean scrub. Sea, history and nature make Portoferraio unique for its particular conformation and variety of beaches that are either composed of fine sand or white gravel.
