scopo curativo e riabilitativo all’interno di strutture ospedaliere e case di cura (Centro Clinico Nemo Milano eRoma; Spazio Vita-AUS Niguarda Milano; Policlinico A. Gemelli Roma; Grande Ospedale Metropolitano Niguarda Milano; Casa Ronald-Fondazione per l’infanzia Ronald McDonald di Brescia) con monitoraggio medico scientifico a supporto degli interventi offerti.

Marevivo è un’associazione nazionale riconosciuta dal Ministero dell’Ambiente e si avvale, per le sue attività in Italia e all’estero, del supporto dei comitati scientifico e giuridico, di 30 delegazioni territoriali, di una divisione subacquea e di un’organizzazione capillare di volontari e iscritti.
Tutte le attività che l’associazione Marevivo porta avanti – come la conservazione della biodiversità, lo sviluppo sostenibile, la valorizzazione e la promozione delle aree marine protette, la lotta all’inquinamento e alla pesca illegale, l’educazione ambientale – mirano a sollecitare l’impegno delle istituzioni e ad accrescere l’attenzione e il coinvolgimento dei cittadini.
Il più grande evento sociale di massa dedicato alla tutela e valorizzazione del “biondo fiume”
La prima edizione del Tevere Day svoltasi il 27 ottobre 2019 è stato il più grande evento sociale dedicato al fiume di Roma mai realizzato. Un evento che ha riportato per la prima volta la gente sul fiume, stimolando l’esigenza di attenzione verso le sue risorse, la cura delle sue acque e dei suoi argini, la tutela della sua cultura, per il ripristino di un rapporto attivo e creativo con la cittadinanza. L’evento ha raccolto l’adesione entusiasta di 65 fra enti, associazioni, federazioni sportive, che, in quella giornata, hanno ideato e sviluppato 75 eventi, da Castel Giubileo ad Ostia, attirando sulle rive del fiume più di 30.000 persone.
Da Castel Giubileo al Foro Italico, dal Ponte della Musica allo Scalo de Pinedo, dall’Isola Tiberina a Testaccio, fino a Tiberis e ancora fino ad Ostia – con l’aiuto di guide, esperti ed istruttori – si sono svolte tantissime attività sportive, dalla canoa al canottaggio, alle corse in bicicletta, dalle passeggiate attive al mini tennis, al calcetto per i ragazzi, alle bocce, al tiro alla fune, allo yoga e al pilates. Così come sono state tante le attività culturali, passeggiate con esperti d’arte e storia, tour cine-letterari, musica dal vivo, street food.
Un programma che sarà ancora ampliato nella prossima edizione, che si svolgerà il 4 ottobre. Tevere Day vuol essere un segnale dell’amore che la città – con i suoi abitanti e i tanti turisti – ha per il suo fiume, contribuendo per la prima volta con un evento di massa a valorizzarne gli aspetti sociali, ambientali, artistici e storici.
