Catello Masullo

Catello Masullo, journalist, member of the Italian Union of Film Critics, President of the Jury of the “Prize for Social Criticism – Sorriso Diverso” at the 72^nd Venice International Film Festival, Vice-President of the Jury at the International Tulipani di Seta Nera Short Festival (2016), member of the 5^th Mibact Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Tourism Commission for Cinematographic Review (2009-2016) in the capacity of cinema expert. He is the Editor of the newspaper specialized in cinema www.ilpareredellingegnere.it, hydraulic engineer and professor and holds the chair of Management of Hydraulic and water services at the Faculty of Engineering of the Roma 3 university, he has been professionally occupied working with water for 40 years, in Europe, Africa and South America and has written for numerous scientific publications in the field. He is a designer/planner and site engineer for works on dams, hydro-electric plants, aqueducts, plants for the treatment and processing of water, hydro-geological projects, irrigation and ports etc.
